A fantastic stay with a wonderful and pleasant staff. Don't get me wrong, this place is not the Ritz, but as far as affordable hotels, it's good in my book! The only real issue we had, was the pool was closed. Their website did warn of an upcoming pool closure, but that was not in the time frame we booked.
The rooms were fine, but it did smell a tiny bit musty.
Not all Hampton are created equal. Some are dated and some are current and comfortable. I’d say this location is pretty nice room quality. The only knock is no digital keys and it is in a hotel dense area and some of the other hotels aren’t as quiet. But this location is nice and safe.
Nice hotel in a quiet location. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was disappointed that they don't have digital key, you have to check in at the front desk.
Updated rooms with the open wall closet. Could not get thermostat to work. Frdge but no microwave in room. Breakfast was a little sparse, no meat option, just eggs- really decent scrambled, much better than most- but only 2 sweet bread choices. Juice machine broken, had a gallon of OJ. Waffle machine fine, but had to ask for it to be filled. Also ran out of coffee! Breakfast area just not up to usual. Front desk help was fine.
I have stayed there just for 1 night and unluckily got room exactly on far corner of building in direction to highway, so was bit loud from trafic. Despite so I was tired to fall to bed and sleep about 5h. Rooms are simple, maintained, area easy to reach, simple breakfast in rate, close to point I need to be, so at all no dissatifaction but positive impression.
Our room was very clean. No issues with room. Front desk person friendly. Continental breakfast was very nice. Good coffee, hot items ok. Pleasant stay at Rockford.
Big room, big bed, big closet space, big time for kitty, big price, big breakfast, had a great stay for a WE wedding. Plus just a couple blocks away from a SAM’S Club gas station. BTW the ice machine ran out.
